Energy Efficiency Services, Inc. began in 1977 when Don Atkinson, Sr. left Atkinson & Lawrence to start his own business. He worked throughout the years doing service and installations mostly alone until he was joined by two of his sons. From there the company grew, until Don retired in 2020, leaving the company to his son Joe. The company now has several contracts with municipalities, along with many private and public customers. The company services and installs all types of heating and process systems. We specialize in retrofit systems, turning an old boiler room into new. We service all types of steam, hydronic, air, oil, gas, propane and electric systems. As the company moves into the future, the main focus is on energy efficiency, bringing older buildings up to the current standards.
